About Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at Sai Tirupati University, Udaipur

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by the United Nations, comprise 17 global objectives designed to address pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges by the year 2030. These goals aim to promote prosperity while protecting the planet, ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey toward sustainable development.
At Sai Tirupati University, the vision of the SDGs is deeply embedded in the institution’s academic ethos, healthcare services, research initiatives, and community outreach. As a multidisciplinary university with a primary focus on medical, nursing, pharmacy, paramedical, and allied health sciences, STU is uniquely positioned to contribute meaningfully to several SDGs.
The university promotes sustainability through curriculum design, student-led eco-initiatives, green campus practices, and socially responsible research. Environmental awareness, ethical healthcare, inclusive learning, and preventive wellness are at the core of institutional activities. Outreach initiatives such as rural health camps, awareness drives, blood donation programs, menstrual hygiene education, and environmental protection campaigns align with multiple SDGs and foster a culture of active citizenship.
STU is also taking steps to integrate digital tools, reduce its ecological footprint, and establish partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and healthcare institutions to drive collective impact. Faculty and students are encouraged to pursue projects and innovations that address local and global challenges through an SDG lens.
